GoAir flight grounded after bomb threat
New Delhi, Oct 25: A Bangalore-bound GoAir flight was grounded at the Delhi airport on Sunday, Oct 25 following a threat call that there was a bomb on the aircraft, airport officials said.
According to a senior airport official, an unidentified person called up the airline's call centre at around 10:40 am saying that a bomb had been planted on the plane.
The GoAir flight G8201 was grounded and passengers asked to disembark.
"The bomb disposal squad was searching the aircraft, which has been parked in the bay at the Indira Gandhi International Airport domestic terminal," airport officials confirmed.
