London, Oct 23 (ANI): Jenson Button could form a dream British motor-racing partnership with Lewis Hamilton next season.
According to The Sun, Hamilton's McLaren team is considering a sensational move for the new F1 world champion.
A source said: "Sponsors Vodafone would be very keen on the idea.
Button's contract talks are in deadlock, with his cost-conscious Brawn GP team stalling over his five million pound pay rise demand that would take him to eight million pounds a year.
Button inherited the title held by Hamilton, 24, with a gutsy fifth-place finish in last Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix.
The Brawn star, 29, took a £5m pay cut last year to help save the team from the F1 scrap heap after Honda quit. But Button, who flew to Dubai last night for a reunion with his model girlfriend Jessica Michibata, reckons he was promised a return to his old salary. (ANI)
