Assembly polls: Results expected by Oct 22 noon
New Delhi, Oct 21: The results of the Maharahstra, Haryana, and Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections held on Oct 13 will be out on Thursday, Oct 22.
The counting of the votes will begin as early as 8 am, and the results are expected to be out by midday.
Rajesh Malhotra, spokesperson of the Election Commission also informed that the commission has made arrangements in order to disseminate information through its website.
For the 60-member Maharashtra legislative assembly, Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) alliance battled against Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena alliance along with Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

In the other two states of Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh, Congress is projected as the most likely winner.
In Haryana, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are in the fray while Arunachal Pradesh elections is a fight between parties including, Congress, BJP, NCP, Trinamool Congress and People's Party of Arunachal.
