Iran blames Pak for suicide bomb attack
Tehran, Oct 19: Iran President Mahmaud Ahmadinejad has blamed elements in Pakistan for Sunday's Oct 18, bombing that killed five senior commanders and at least 37 others near Pakistani border.
"Iran has received information that some security agents' in Pakistan were cooperating with elements behind Sunday's attack on the Revolutionary Guards," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was quoted by the semi-official Fars News Agency as saying.
According to Iranian media, Jundollah claimed responsibility for the bombing, which killed more than 30 people.
"We were informed that some security agents in Pakistan are cooperating with the main elements of this terrorist incident. We regard it as our right to demand these criminals from them," Ahmadinejad said.
"We ask the Pakistani government not to delay any longer in the apprehension of the main elements in this terrorist attack," he added.
