Washington, Oct 15: US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton said that she has 'absolutely no interest' in running again for US president.
"I have absolutely no interest in running for president again," Clinton said to a TV interview.
"No. None. I know that"s hard for some people to believe. But, you know, I just don't," Clinton told ABC News.
Clinton said she was at first skeptical when she got a call from Obama asking her to be secretary of state just days after the Nov 4, 2008 presidential election.
"Obama said, 'I want you to be my secretary of state, I said, Oh, no, you don't, " Clinton said.
Clinton said that her current job as the top US diplomat 'is incredibly, all-encompassing' and that when it is over, she may look forward to 'taking some time off'.
