3 more H1N1 deaths in M'rashtra, toll at 399
New Delhi, Oct 14: Maharashtra reported three more Swine flu deaths taking the country's H1N1 death toll very close to the 400 mark.
Maharashtra which continues to be the worst-hit state reported the three fatalities on Wednesday, Oct 14 taking the country's toll to 399. Out of the three two death took place earlier but the test results confirming H1N1 infection was received only on Wednesday, Oct 14.
Apart from this, the country has recorded 150 fresh cases of the Influenza A or H1N1. With this the total number of the people affected with the virus stands at 12,334.
"Till date, samples from 65,803 people have been tested for influenza A (H1N1) in government laboratories and a few private laboratories across the country and 12,334 of them have been found positive," official statement read.
