Ex-wife says 'she's public enemy No. 1 for revealing Gazza's abuse'

London, Oct 14 (ANI): Sheryl Gascoigne, ex-wife of English football legend Paul a.k.a Gazza, confesses that the public hates her for making nasty revelations about her former hubby.

The Daily Star quoted Sheryl as saying: "He's a hero and people don't want to hear the ugly truth."

She told a friend: "I know people will hate me for saying this but the truth needs to be told, even if it does make me public enemy number one."

Sheryl's statements come even as book shop Waterstone's offered her autobiography, Stronger: My Life Surviving Gazza for sale at one third of it's original price.

Meanwhile, Gazza's family are planning a legal battle against Sheryl for allegedly defaming them.

The footie's sis Anna said: "I've read one episode that refers to me and it is entirely wrong.

"I am going to sue her for libel and have contacted my solicitor.

"The rest of the family are going through it too. We are all going to sue."

Gazza also plans to drag Sheryl to court over her claims that he forced her for sex 10 times a day during their two-year marriage. (ANI)
