Citing it to be the biggesr gift to mother Kokilaben, Anil proposed to end all issues with Mukesh on a cordial note within a few weeks.
"The issues are only a handful, and the facts are well known. My judgement says that they can all be resolved in a matter of weeks, and will not require several months of discussions," said Anil.
But RIL asked Anil to demonstrate the bonafide of his intentions behind the latest overture, adding it 'welcomes this positive indicator and will not be found wanting in responding to them constructively.'
On the other hand, Supreme Court would soon conduct hearing on Tuesday, Oct 20 on the differences of group companies of the brothers regardingsupply of gas.
Anil offered a reconciliation after returning from pilgrimage to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
However, RIl was not convinced that Anil really wanted reconciliation.
"Sadly, the conduct of R-ADAG so far makes it difficult for RIL to believe that Anil Ambani had a real change of heart. For last many years Anil Ambani had indulged in a malicious campaign against RIL and its chairman (Mukesh)," said RIL.
The campaign, it added, "reached its nadir in recent months through a vicious series of advertisements unprecedented in India's corporate history".
However, Anil seemed all ready to be reconcile with Mukesh.
Anil said even during the trying period, he "maintained the greatest of love, affection and respect for Mukeshbhai - as I have done since my birth."
"I have made this pilgrimage today to the holy shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath ... in the hope of seeking divine inspiration and blessings, in trying to heal the wounds, and in making a renewed effort to resolve, reconcile and reciprocate," he added.
