London, Oct.7 (ANI): Formula One title rival and German Sebastian Vettel has warned favourite Jenson Button that he can expect maximum attack and has vowed to win the final two races in a late bid to destroy Button's championship dream.
According to The Sun, the Red Bull driver, 22, insisted: "It is very simple for me.It's head down, maximum attack, win the races. There is nothing more I can do. The stakes are getting higher. I will do everything I can."
Vettel's runaway victory in Japan on Sunday took his points tally in the last eight races to 40.
Button has scored 24 in that time, while his Brawn team-mate and other title rival Rubens Barrichello has picked up 36.
The Frome flier holds a 14-point lead over Barrichello with Vettel two points further back.
Red Bull team chief Christian Horner is throwing the full weight of the Milton Keynes-based team behind Vettel. (ANI)
