India's H1N1 toll at 351, above 11,000 cases
New Delhi, Oct 6; Just days after the number of Swine flu cases in India crossed 10,000 mark, scores of fresh cases being detected every day have now taken the total number of H1N1 cases above 11,000.
With seven new deaths, including the four reported from Maharashtra, the country's death toll stands at 351.
Out of the three swine flu deaths reported on Mondau, Oct 5, one fatalities each was reported from Haryana, Delhi and Karnataka.
Meanwhile, 174 fresh cases have been detected across the country, taking the number of people infected by H1N1 to 11,068. Out of these new cases, Maharashtra reported 48 cases, Karnataka 29 and Delhi 27 cases.
On Monday, Oct 5, United States released its Swine flu vaccine. America is the third country to achieve this after China and Australia.
The country's health care officials and security personnel will be the first to receive the anti-viral medicine.
