Raipur, Oct 5 (ANI): About 60 riders took part in the Dirt Supercross Bike Competition here on Sunday.
Participants, including a dozen from the state, from different parts of the country, took part in the championship. But it was KP Arvind from Bangalore, who walked away with the winners' trophy.
Arvind, who has taken part in many national and international championships, appreciated the efforts of the organisers and cheering crowd.
"The contest was very good. The crowd was very enthusiastic and it feels great when they cheer you," said Arvind.
Arvind said it takes a combination of fitness, strength of a rider and good engine of the bike to win a championship.
According to organizers, such events will not only promote adventure sports, but will also help in boosting tourism in the state. (ANI)
