Prince Harry's life to be turned into Hollywood blockbuster
London, Oct 3 (ANI): Prince Harry's life is all set to become the subject of a Hollywood film, according to reports.
The movie titled 'The Spare' will portray Harry's life after the death of his mum Princess Diana and his defence service alongside other Brit troops in Afghanistan.
The hunt for a young actor to play the 25-year-old Prince is on and the scripting of the movie is already underway.
Filming of the flick is slated to start next year in the UK and the Middle East.
Peter Kosminsky will helm the movie.
The Daily Star quoted Kosminsky as giving the reason for making a film on Harry's life: "I feel a sense of compassion for the guy.
"His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over.
"He's a man born to no role. His brother's the heir and Harry's the spare."
"Suddenly, he finds himself alongside ordinary guys, immersed in the real world and for the first time in his life he doesn't feel like a spare part," he added.
The director has still not zeroed in on a name to play the lead.
He said: "My personal approach as a director is that I read the script and people start to pop into my head." (ANI)
