New Delhi, Oct. 2 (ANI): BJP President Rajnath Singh has said that the UPA Government should strongly denounce for issuing separate visas to Kashmiris.
"Kashmir is an integral part of India. That's why the Indian government should react strongly that China has no right to issue separate visas to Kashmiris. Indian government should oppose it strongly," Singh said.
China has been issuing hand-written visas on loose sheets of paper to Kashmiris without stamping their passports for over a year now.
China has so far issued about 100 such visas, angering India.
The issue came to the notice of India's bureau of immigration when some Kashmiri students and businessmen were turned away initially assuming their visas to be fake.
But when some of them returned with letters from the Chinese embassy declaring the visas to be genuine, the matter was then referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (ANI)
