Bullied Chinese dwarves turn village into theme park
Melbourne, Sep 30 (ANI): A Chinese community of dwarves was so frustrated with people making fun of their height that they turned their remote village into a theme park.
Initially the tiny group in Kunming, southern China, was established by dwarves who came together after complaining about being discriminated by 'big people".
They had banned people taller than 4ft 3ins tall from entering the private mountain commune of 120 residents, which has its own police force and fire brigade.
And now, in retaliation to the mockery, they have transformed the whole region into a tourist attraction complete with mushroom houses and villagers living and dressing like fairy tale characters.
"As small people we are used to being pushed around and exploited by big people. But here there aren't any big people and everything we do is for us," The Daily Telegraph quoted Fu Tien, a spokesman for the group as telling UK's Sun newspaper. (ANI)
