"All of a sudden the pandal started falling. I was inside along with hundred of other people. Many fell under the bamboo scaffolding," said Gauri, an eyewitness.
According to the police, ten women, five men and five children were injured in the mishap.
"The figure which we have got, include ten female, five male and five children. All the injuries appear to me simple in nature," said Bijoy Nag, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
Meanwhile, disaster management team had reached the spot and search operation was still underway to rescue if anyone was still rapped under the debris. (ANI)
