London, September 27 (ANI): Sarah Brown's dress designer complains that she does not follow her copious style tips.
Britt Lintner is the same stylist who designed the dress that British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's wife wore at the G20 summit in London.
"I always send her a long letter with my clothes telling her all the combinations and how to wear them," the Telegraph quoted her as telling Mandrake at a party at Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre, at Chring Cross hospital, in Hammersmith, west London.
"She is her own woman and makes her own choices. She always wears opaque tights - I can't do anything about that.
"She is a beautiful woman, but it is so hard to compete with women like Carla (Bruni) on that stage. I tell her: 'Stick to greys, blues and black; don't wear green and red as you attract negative attention.' In the end, I'm not the one who has to face the cameras," she added.
Last week, Brown wore a Little Black Dress with embroidered hem, by Erdem, to a reception in Downing Street to celebrate the 25th anniversary of London Fashion Week, which she jointly hosted with Maggie Darling.
Ozwald Boateng, the designer, was seen adjusting Gordon Brown's tie as his wife watched during the reception to promote emerging fashion talent. (ANI)
