Sacked employees lynch VP to death
New Delhi, Sep 23: Exactly a year after the incident of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a private company in Uttar Pradesh lynched to death by dismissed employees, yet another report of the labour fury has come to light.
The Vice President (HR) of a Coimbatore-based auto instruments maker, Pricol reportedly succumbed to the injuries he received when the agitating employees assaulted him.

Informing that the seven workers who were involved in the incident have been arrested, Coimbatore SP N Kannan said, "The workers attacked Roy using iron rods and wooden sticks. It was a premeditated attack. Seven assailants, who entered the office and perpetrated the attacks, have been arrested. The attacks are pre-planned, as a day before the disgruntled employees, including the assailants, held a meeting to discuss the firing of the employees.""
The unrest started when the company was forced to dismiss 42 workers at its Kuniamuthur unit for indiscipline on Saturday, Sep 19.
On Sep 22, 2008, LK Chaudhary, CEO of a Greater Noida company was beaten to death by a mob of angry employees who were sacked.
