London, Sep 21(ANI): England captain John Terry has revealed that he has a private trophy room in his house, which he visits everyday to take inspiration to be a better footballer.
Terry's private trophy room is full of medals, trophies, England caps and memorabilia that he has collected over the years.
"I think about it when I wake up, when I'm at training and when I practise penalties. I think about it every day - probably 20, 30, 40 times a day," The Daily Star quoted Terry, as saying.
"When I come in here, I see the boots and the shirt and it gives me inspiration. I desperately want to win the Champions League, so I look at it and keep it there," he added.
Terry further said that he has also collected the t-shirt which he wore during the match against Manchester United in which he missed a penalty that cost the Blues last year's Champions League.
He also confessed that the costly miss haunts him 40 times a day. (ANI)
