London, September 20 (ANI): Bestselling author Justine Lévy has penned her memories about the time her husband left her for Carla Bruni, as part of her new book 'Bad Girl'.
The daughter of French philosopher and intellectual, Bernard-Henri Lévy, recalled "the really bad time of my life" when her husband of four years Raphaël Enthoven eloped with Bruni.
Lévy mentioned the haunting period, recalling how Enthoven convinced her to have an abortion before absconding with the singer and having a son by her.
"I was not at all happy," Times Online quoted her as saying.
Lévy, who has since remarried and is the mother of two children, also revealed of the heartache that landed her in a detoxification clinic after a two-year addiction to amphetamines.
She added: "Now I have turned the page. I've reached the point where I'm happy, with two children of my own."
The novelist confessed being more than amused when she heard the former model broke up with Enthoven and moved on to Nicolas Sarkozy, saying: "I laughed. I thought that was really funny." (ANI)
