New Delhi, Sep 18: External Affairs Minister SM Krishna on Friday, Sep 18, asserted that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.
Krishna said that both India and China are 'mature and powerful' neigbours and need to have trust and faith in each other.
When asked about China's efforts to stop Asian Development Bank from funding Indian projects in the state, Krishna said "India's stand is very clear. Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India."
Seeking to allay concerns over the Chinese incursions, the minister said "India's borders are safe" and "Indian armed forces are capable of defending its frontiers."
