Aarushi murder case: CBI releases two detained
New Delhi, Sep 16: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly released the two people detained in connection with the Aarushi Talwar murder case.
The CBI had earlier detained Ramphool and his sister Kusum for questioning. According to sources, the CBI wanted to understand how the cellphone went from Noida to Bulandshahr town in Uttar Pradesh where it was recovered by the Delhi Police.
The CBI has also sent the cellphone for forensic analysis to confirm that the phone actually belonged to Aarushi and to retrieve any information if possible.
The Delhi police recovered the cellphone from the UP town on Saturday, Sep 12 and handed it over to the CBI.
