US Open: Young del Potro overthrows great Rafa

New York, Sep 14: Dishing out a stunning 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 victory against third seed Rafael Nadal in US open semi finals on Sunday, Sep 13, Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro marched into the finals.

The giant 6-foot-6 Argentinean unleashed a brutal performance etching a scar of worst defeat on the career of great Rafa.

"I was so focused every moment because Rafa is such a great player," del Porto said.

20-year-old, Porto's serve was never broken throughout the match. In all the three sets, Porto get ahead early and closed each set with a final break of Nadal"s serve.

Now, del Porto will clash against top-seeded Roger Federer on Monday, Sep 14 in his first ever Grand Slam final.
