Karnataka, Sep 14: Chief Minister BS Yedurapa (BSY) crtiticised former H D Deve Gowda, the former Prime Minister's statement that he was ready to give up his life for the welfare of the farmers, who were committing suicides.
"Former Prime Minister is shedding crocodile tear on the crisis faced by the state farmers," said BSY.
The CM told media that Congress and JD (S) were defaming the state BJP government with charges like communal violence.
He added if Gowda had issues regarding farmer suicides he should have discussed it with the government and not politicise it.
Yeddurappa informed that the Government ordered a CoD inquiry within 24 hours after the attack on a place of worship in Anekal.
He also insisted that the government would take all measures to maintain state law and order.
