Shopian Case: JK HC grants bail to four policemen
Srinagar, Sep 11: Four policemen who were accused of destroying evidence related to the Shopian double murder case were released on bail by Jammu Kashmir High Court.
The policemen including Former Superintendent of Police of Shopian Javed Iqbal Mattoo, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rohit Baskota, Station House Officer Shopian Shafiq Ahmed and Sub-inspector Gazi Abdul Rehman were released on payment of a bond of Rs 50, 000 each on Friday, Sep 11.
The policemen have been directed to stay in the state and not to enter Pulwama and Shopian.
