Bomb scare was a 'hoax': Delhi Police
New Delhi, Sep 8: According to the latest media reports, the bomb scare in Delhi which was triggered off by an anonymous caller warning Delhi Police of of possible blasts in nation's capital was a hoax.
After investigations, the call proved to be a hoax, Delhi police revealed to media.
The call was received by the police on Tuesday, Sep 8 at around 9:30 am.
Following this, five buildings including the Railway Station, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) in Connaught Place, Income Tax Office building, Safdarjung Hospital, and Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, were on high alert.
Building were quickly evacuated and intensive search operations were launched.
