Train passengers looted in Bihar, 1 injured
Patna, Sep 6: A passenger was critically injured by armed men who looted cash, jewellery and other valubles from people on board Howrah-bound train near Barh in Patna district on Saturday, Sep 5.
Government railway police sources said, "Four persons armed with pistols and rifles boarded the Danapur-Howrah Express train at Khusroopur railway station last night and went on a looting spree in the bogie for disabled persons."
They also entered the sleeper coaches and snatched the belongings of several passengers, they said.
The robbers fired at passengers when they put up a resistance, injuring one person, they said.
The injured passenger, a hockey player, was admitted to the Patna Medical College and Hospital.
