Aussies attempt world's longest jam session
Melbourne, September 6 (ANI): Artists in Australia have attempted to grab a place in the record books with a jam session lasting seven days.
More than 850 musicians took part in the 150-hour recording session that is yet to be verified by Guinness World Records.
Organiser Andy Arthurs, Professor of Music, Queensland University of Technology's (QUT) said many precautions were taken to make sure there were no breaks in the session at the Riverstage in the Botanic Gardens.
"We had a house band to mop up when things went wrong so that whatever happened we kept going," Australian Associated Press quoted Arthurs as saying.
"It's recorded digitally on audio with two back-ups going," Arthurs added. (ANI)
