US history buff fires cannonball through neighbour's house!
London, Sep 5 (ANI): A Pennsylvania man, who recreates firearms from old wars, is said to have accidentally fired a cannonball through the wall of his neighbour's home.
William Maser, 54, of Georges Township, fired the two-pound cannonball on September 2 evening outside his home, and it ricocheted hitting a house 400 yards (365 meters) away, reports the Telegraph.
The cannonball, which is about two inches in diameter, smashed through a window and a wall before landing in his neighbour's closet.
Luckily no one was hurt, though the state police charged Maser with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Maser, who is a history buff, told WPXI-TV that recreating 19th century cannon is a longtime hobby.
He added that he was sorry about the damage and would stop shooting them on his property. (ANI)
