Pilots of AI flight which caught fire de-rostered
New Delhi, Sep 5: The pilots of Air India flight that caught on fire on Friday, Sep 4, have been de-rostered, say reports. And the Director General of DGCA, Nazeem Zaldi, has confirmed that the pilots have been de-rostered.
The engine of Flight 829 with 213 passengers on board caught fire while it was taxiing for taking off in Mumbai. However the passengers of the flight were safely evacuated.
On Saturday, Sep 5, both the pilot and the co-pilot were grounded until further notice.
