Hyderabad, Sep 3: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who died in a plane crash on Wednesday, Sep 2, will be cremated on Friday, Sep 4.
Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister K Rosaiah said that the bodies of all victims, including CM YSR, will be brought to Hyderabad from Kurnool on Thursday, Sep 3 at 5:00 pm.
After being brought to Hyderabad, YSR's body will be taken to the chief minister's camp office in Begumpet. The bodies of the other four people would be taken to their respective native places, he said.
The Chief Minster"s body will be kept at the Lal Bahadur stadium in Hyderabad at 10:00 am Friday, Sep 4 to enable people to pay their last respects.
At 1:00 pm, YSR"s body will be taken to Pulivendula, his native town in Kadapa district where he will be cremated with state honours.
He also said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi and several union ministers are expected to arrive here.
"A cabinet meeting will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, Sep 3, where a condolence resolution will be passed," Rosaiah added.
