American Fritzl's wife loves and misses Jaycee Lee Dugard's kids

London, Sep 3 (ANI): American Fritzl Philip Garrido's wife, Nancy, claims that she loves and misses the two daughters her husband fathered with Jaycee Lee Dugard, the girl they are accused of kidnapping.

During a 90 minutes prison interview with her lawyer Gilbert Maines, Nancy described Dugard and her two daughters, Starlet 15, and Angel, 11, as being her family.

"She has said to me that she misses the girls, that she loves them and her feeling was they had become a family. They acted like a family," the Telegraph quoted Maines as saying.

"It seems strange given the circumstances but that's it. She's distraught, frightened, and appeared to be a little lost," he added.

Starlet and Angel have spent their lives thinking that Dugard was their elder sister, and they are believed to have thought that Garrido was their mother.

Maines, who has been threatened on the Internet for defending his client, claimed that she was "controlled" by her husband and was a "victim". (ANI)
