Brit hooker mistakenly lures vice squad head to brothel
London, Aug 31 (ANI): A Brit hooker reportedly lured a man to a brothel to rob him, only to later find out that he was the head of the Met Police's Vice Squad.
Det Insp Kevin Hyland, 45, was in the street at 6.30am removing prostitutes' calling cards from phone boxes, when the 35-year-old woman approached him.
She asked whether he wanted under-age sex, and led him to a brothel in London's West End notorious for "clipping", where punters are robbed of all their money and credit cards.
"When we got there she asked if I was a policeman," the Sun quoted Hyland, who has 23 years' police service, as saying.
"I said, 'Worse, I'm the head of Scotland Yard's Vice Squad'. It was a big shock.
"We use the numbers on calling cards for intelligence but maybe she thought I was interested in that kind of thing.
"She asked if I wanted to go somewhere for under-age girls so I followed to see where she was working from. When we got there I broke the bad news.
"It was very unfortunate that of all the police officers in London, it was me," he added.
The woman will appear in court on prostitution charges next month. (ANI)
