London, Aug 25 (ANI): Brit cricketer Jimmy Anderson has revealed that the gee-up song that had been sung at the Ashes, where England won, had been sung by an Australian.

'Time For Heroes' by Juliet The Sun is a song frequently played in the home side's dressing room.

The British group's Aussie singer Steven Crook had handed over the track personally, as he was a former team-mate of Anderson's and fellow stars Andrew Flintoff and Graeme Swann.Cricketers all like upbeat music before playing and 'Time for Heroes' definitely fits the bill," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"It's also quite funny that a track sung by an Australian has given me a psychological edge during the Ashes!" he added. (ANI)
