Delhi police arrests suspected LeT militant
New Delhi, Aug 25: According to media reports, a suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba militant was arrested in New Delhi on Tuesday, Aug 25
The man who was carrying explosives was arrested by the Delhi Police"s Special Cell at around 12:40 pm in the Railway Station.
The police revealed that the man was carrying an ID card with the name Salim and a Pakistan Passport with the name Yusuf. The police is now trying to ascertain the man's real identity and his purpose of coming to India.
This is the second such arrest by the Delhi police. Two Hizbul Mujahideen militants who were believed to be plotting an attack in the nation's capital ahead of Independence Day were arrested on Aug 6.
