London, August 21 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan has been snubbed from a new movie role because producers think the actress is "too jaded" for the part.
The "Mean Girls" star was said to be in line to play the protagonist in the film adaptation of acclaimed novel 'Undiscovered Gyrl'.
But writer Allison Burnett said the idea to star Lindsay in the project was scrapped over her troubled image.
"(Lohan) is a wonderful actress, but her fame and baggage would only work against her," the Mirror quoted Allison as telling the US edition of OK! magazine.
The 'Undiscovered Gyrl' narrates the tale of a teen blogging about her sexual coming-of-age. (ANI)
