Shimla, Aug 21: Jaswant Singh's book which ousted the senior leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is sell like hot cakes across the country, say media reports.
With the quick sales, the Minerva and Asian book house in Shimla has already ordered advance copies of the book on Mohammad Ali Jinnah to meet the excessive demand, says a news report.
Another news report has revealed that the book has managed to capture just as much interest in Bangalore as in Shimla. All the major book store chains across the city are now left saying 'out of stock' to those who come in to buy the book 'Jinnah: India Partition Independence'.
The book which was launched on Monday, Aug 17 contains the author's view on Jinnah during the Indo-Pak Partition. In the book Jaswant Singh has apparantly praised Pakistan's founder and blamed Indian leaders like Nehru and Patel for the partition.
This controversial stance taken by the author led to BJP expelling him from the party citing that this was against the party's ideology.
