Indian Navy jet crashes, pilot feared dead
New Delhi, Aug 21: An Indian Navy fighter jet crashed into the Arabian Sea on Friday, Aug 21 and pilot is feared to have been killed, a military official said.
Indian Navy spokesman PVS Satish said, "The jet, a British-made Sea Harrier, plummeted into the sea 15 kilometres (nine miles) off Goa's coast."
He also said, "The pilot is presumed dead." The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
