Bihar: Angry students set four AC bogies on fire
Patna, Aug 18: Four air-conditioned bogies of Patna-Delhi Shramjeevi Express were set on fire by a group of angry students at a station near Patna on Tuesday, Aug 18, causing damage to the coaches.
The group of students reportedly resorted to the violence after being stopped by Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel from forcibly occupying reserved seats.
The group comprising of about 15 students reportedly boarded the train at Ara without tickets. The RPF personnel who saw this who forced them out of the coaches during a halt at Bihta station. The students who were enraged by this set two AC III tier, one AC II tier and a AC first class bogies on fire.
