Dumb Christchurch crook leaves name, contact details before robbery!
Wellington, August 17 (ANI): A thief in Christchurch, New Zealand, was said to have left behind his name and contact details after robbing the cash register in a store.
The man, a long-time customer of Penny Lane Records on Colombo St in Sydenham, had come up to the counter with a copy of Pink Floyd's CD.
He apparently penned his name and personal information on a sticker pasted on the CD, which he requested to be held for him, reports Stuff.co.nz
And soon when the attendant went to help another client, the man leaned over the counter, opened the till, and grabbed money in full view of the store's eight surveillance cameras.
He rushed from the store after pushing a woman who spotted him.
Record store manager Garry Knight said the man would have seen a monitor above, had he bothered to look up. (ANI)
