Islamabad, Aug.14 (ANI): A US Marine has been accused of throwing his weight around a local resident in Islamabad.
A complaint has been lodged against him for thrashing a youth in the city.
Islamabad Police is in search of a US Marine who allegedly thrashed a man near the Nasir Apartments, The Nation reports.
According to the complaint registered with the Secretariat Police Station, a US Marine manhandled the complainant's son.
The complainant, Shams Khan said his son, Ibrahim was repeatedly beaten by the Marine. Khan complained that his car was also damaged by the marine.
He alleged that Ibrahim was made to sit outside the US embassy for more than three hours and quizzed about his identity.
Khan said he would move the court if police failed to take substantial action.
The US embassy, however, has denied the involvement of its official.
An embassy spokesperson brushed aside the incident terming it as a 'conspiracy' against the US embassy. (ANI)
