UK schoolboy gets qualification in 'riding buses'!
London, August 14 (ANI): A teenaged schoolboy in England was left surprised when he mysteriously got a qualification in "riding buses" from exam board AQA.
Bobby McHale, 15, was appreciated for his exceptional skill in walking to the bus stop, waiting for it to arrive, and getting on in the letter he received from the exam board.
The Straight-A student, from Bury, Lancashire, said that he did not even know he had taken part in the exam.
"When I read out the details to the family we all fell about laughing," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.
His father Andy, a businessman, joked: "We think he may go far... so long as he gets the No 135!"
Bobby was awarded the certificate after taking part in a three-week holiday scheme run by Bury Youth Services.
A spokesman for exam board AQA said: "The Unit Award Scheme appreciates different people have different needs. We expect centres to ensure that candidates are entered for units that are appropriate to their needs and abilities." (ANI)
