13 killed in Bangladesh bus crash
Dhaka, Aug.14 (ANI): A speeding bus hit a tree and crashed into a canal in Bangladesh, killing at least 13 people and injuring 10, reports said here today.
The accident occurred in Feni, a town 80 miles east of Dhaka, United News of Bangladesh said.
The injured have been taken to hospital, the report said.
Government officials were not immediately available for comment.
Fatal road accidentsclaim at least 4,500 lives a year in Bangladesh, according to a government estimate. (ANI)
