Tiger Woods blames TV for 'influencing the outcome' of his PGA tour

By Super Admin

London, Aug. 12 (ANI): Tiger Woods has blamed US TV network CBS and British referee John Paramor for "influencing the outcome" of his duel with Padraig Harrington at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

The world No.1 insisted they were more concerned with TV schedules than his battle with the 37-year-old Irishman.

Woods admitted that Harrington might not have lost if they had not been put on the clock by Paramor on the 16th tee.

"I felt frustrated and uncomfortable because the issue of time clearly influenced the outcome of the event," Mirror.co.uk quoted Woods, as saying.

"The way I understood it, we were the only two players in contention to win the tournament.

"We were having a great battle before they put us on the clock. That certainly affected how Paddy played the hole and the outcome of the tournament," he said. (ANI)
