F-1 comeback king Schumacher to undertake two days of track trials

By Super Admin

London, Aug.11 (ANI): Seven-time world racing champion Michael Schumacher will prepare for his highly-anticipated Formula 1 comeback today and on Wednesday.

Schumacher will practice in a 2007 Ferrari at Italy's Mugello circuit.

Testing rules prohibit the German superstar from driving Ferrari's current car, The Sun reports.

Schumacher, who retired three years ago, is set to stand in for the injured Felipe Massa at the European Grand Prix at Valencia on August 23. He has already driven the 2007 Ferrari and practiced on a kart track.

He has been also working hard on his fitness but has yet to reveal if he has been given the green light from doctors to return to F1 racing.

Last week he disclosed he was still feeling pain his neck following a motorbike crash in February.

Organisers of the European GP say ticket sales have been significantly boosted by Schumacher's comeback. (ANI)
