Taliban sources confirm Mehsud's death: Report
New Delhi, Aug 7: According to Dawn News, Taliban sources have confirmed the death of the Tehreek-e-Taliban chief, Baitullah Mehsud.
Speaking to CNN IBN, Zahir Shah, the Bureau Head of Dawn News said that the death of the Pakistani wing of Taliban has been killed in the US drone attacks that took place two days ago. He said that the chief's funeral was held in the Narkosa village in Pakistan.

It was only few hours ago, that US officials and the Pakistan Interior Minister, Rehman Malik said that Mehsud could have been killed in the drone strikes that took place on Wednesday, Aug 5 along with his wife. Although both of them said that there was no evidence to confirm the reports.
