Amartya Sen wants India to address problem of injustice
Kolkata, Aug 6 (ANI): Noble laureate Amartya Sen has said that India required many landmark changes to address the problem of injustice.
"There are many other changes that has to be innovatively examined to address the manifest problem of injustice today which not only includes intolerable levels of under- nourishments, maternal under-nourishments also illiteracy, lack of medical attention and non-functioning public services," he said.
Sen was delivering lecture on 'Justice-and India' in Kolkata.
He also spoke about his new book 'The idea of justice'. (ANI)
