India, Pakistan foreign secretaries to meet in September
Islamabad, Aug 4 (ANI): Foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan will hold talks in New York in September when the foreign ministers of both countries attend the United Nations General Assembly session.
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said he would like the foreign secretaries of the two countries to meet as soon as possible.
Talking to the media at Foreign Services Academy, Qureshi dispelled the impression that the government was under any pressure from international players to avoid bringing a case against former President Pervez Musharraf.
He added that the government would respect any decision taken by parliament on Musharraf's fate.
Commenting on a question related to India's recent defence acquisitions, the Foreign Minister said that the political and military leaderships in both India and Pakistan know that war is not an option. (ANI)
