London, Aug 3 (ANI): Amid a string of scandals, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Belusconi kicked off his holiday with a specialist treatment designed to relieve stress and help him rest.
According to the newspaper Corriere dell'Alto Adige, three doctors from a private clinic in Brixen, in the northern region of South Tyrol, were flown by helicopter on Saturday to Berlusconi's Milan residence.
The report further reveals that the reveals that the 72-year-old media tycoon-turned-politician has also been advised to have an appropriate diet.
"From August 10 to 20, perhaps until the 25, I will be in Sardinia," the Telegraph quoted him as having told the South Tyrol-based newspaper.
Berlusconi has a villa on the island, which was the setting for a series compromising photos published by the Spanish newspaper El Pais showing topless women and a man in the nude.
He is also said to have planned a visit to the Abruzzo region, which was hit by a devastating earthquake in May.
Meanwhile, in the latest controversy to hit the Italian premier, a call girl has claimed that she spent the night with Berlusconi, and filmed his bedroom with her mobile phone. (ANI)
