Chester (England), July 31(ANI): Numerous football stars have come forward in a new bidding war, bid for a staggering 4.5 million pounds seven-bedroom mansion at Chester county, which belongs to former Man U footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, who moved to Real Madrid following a record 80 million pound signing, is selling the luxurious mansion dubbed as "Gold Trafford" which he had bought in February 2008, The Sun reports.
It is believed that the mansion would gather a staggering profit, as Ronaldo had bought it for 3.85 million pounds and already it has been attracting huge bids.
Manchester City strikers Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tevez, mid-fielder Gareth Barry, Man U winger Antonio Valencia and Arsenal defender Kolo Toure have expressed desire to buy the mansion that has an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym and cinema room.
Toure leads the race after putting 5.5 million pounds following his 14 million switch from Arsenal.
"All the big players signing for City are having a sniff around Cheshire for the best house. Toure has made the biggest offer so far, but the others haven't given up on the chase yet. They all have deep pockets," a source said. (ANI)
