Cool Hughes refuses to react to Fergie's hairdryer strikes

By Super Admin

London, July 31 (ANI): Manchester City manager Mark Hughes has refused to react to the verbal barbs being directed at him by his United rival Alex Ferguson after his 14 million pound signing of Kolo Toure.

The Sun quoted Sparky as saying: "I'm trying not to rise to it. Sometimes we have to respond because people make comments but we don't try to cultivate these situations."

On Fergie, he said: "He got a little upset about our poster campaign although to call it a campaign is wrong because there was only one. It was just a bit of fun between the two sets of supporters and I think it was taken in that manner. I didn't get too het up about it but Sir Alex did." (ANI)
